Brief guide to Milan summer sales

Hello to all fashionistas and fashionistas’ boyfriends! I’m back from a long long day of work and trying to figure out why the hell all the people in Milan could gather ALL TOGETHER in the city center this weekend.

Today’s topic: SALDI ESTIVI. This period of the year loved by shopaholics and loathed by their partners.  How to face this challenge in Milan?

Here’s the point of view of a sales assistant (that it, me):

1. If you have already seen something you like, go the first day.
2. If you have already seen something, DON’T go to the city center. Go to some department stores out of town.
3. If you just want to wander around, go in August, during the last week. Seriously. You’ll find 70% off and sometimes really good bargains.
4. If you cannot find the right size, go back the following week. Probably they’ll replenish.
5. Every week they’ll display new stuff. Keep updated.
6. Girls, don’t ask your boyfriends to come with you to do shopping. Poor guys, they will only slow you down in your purchase process.
8. Only take what you really like! You don’t want to be broke untile next sales in January, right?
9. If you see something you like, BUY IT. You’ll regret it if you don’t.
